1st post of "The Tenth Circle" by Jodi Picoult.

I am going to be reading “The Tenth Circle” written by Jodi Picoult. I heard of this book from one of my friends. I originally asked her if I could borrow the book “My Sisters Keeper” since I saw her reading it in math class last year nonstop, but she said that she thought I would enjoy this story a bit more. I decided to trust her on this decision, since she knows so much about literature. Also, Jodi Picoult wrote “My Sisters Keeper”, so that is a coincidence since she is the same other of “The Tenth Circle”. I decided to do some research on this book before officially deciding if I wanted to read it or not. I went and looked up a review about it. The review stated that this novel included violence, drama and death in it. I don’t want to sound morbid or anything, but I think I will enjoy this book because it will keep me interested and awake when I read it. I am excited to start reading this book that sounds a bit mentally deranged yet exciting. Hopefully it will be an enjoyable experience.

Hi there Katie. I was looking over the rubric for our ELA outside reading, and apparently we have to comment on people's blogs on a weekly basis along with writing our own, so... Yeah. Hope you don't mind me leaving a comment for you. :D

Anyways, it's actually surprising that Picoult would have violence in one of her novels, because she strikes me as being a really girly writer, and almost a modern feminist. Please tell me eventually if I'm flat out wrong about her, hahah. And to be honest, violence, drama, and death are the only things that keep my interest in books besides shattered relationships. We'd probably enjoy the same novels now that I think about it, Katie. :)

Hope you enjoy your book.
